Beloved friends,
I trust that you are enjoying a Christ-filled Christmas season and that you are anticipating the joy and help of His presence in the New Year. Throughout this Christmas season, my heart has been wrapped around the fact that the Baby is a King.
He is born King of the Jews. His kingdom is in the hearts of believers today. He will return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.
I guess I am focused on His kingship for two reasons. First, in TUESDAY CHURCH, we are interpreting the book of Revelation in light of the entire Biblical text. (I can't imagine trying to understand Revelation in any other way.). In our study on Tuesdays, we have seen the kingship of Jesus during the time period known as the 70th week of Daniel. During this time, we see King Jesus, the Lamb who is worthy of glory, honor, blessing, praise... bring a righteous end to sin, and an anointing that believers will enjoy throughout eternity.
We see Him supernaturally protect Israel. We see Him fulfill His covenants with Israel. We see the armies of heaven return to earth with Him. And there is so much more…
I've asked the Lord how I could apply this to Christmas and the beginning of a New Year. Here is where my heart has been during the Christmas season.
God is FAITHful. The God whom we see bringing an end to sin and anointing the Holy Place with His eternal holy presence, is the same God who is now bringing an end to sin and anointing with His presence, the life of His followers today.
God is FAITHful. The same God, who will supernaturally protect believing Israel during the time when He pours His wrath upon the earth, is the same God who is supernaturally protecting and providing for His followers today.
God is FAITHful. Just as God literally fulfilled His promise to send Messiah to earth (Christmas) to reconcile mankind to Himself, so will He be FAITHful to come again, and bring to final completion, all that He has promised.
God is FAITHful, and I can trust Him. My worship, my "response to truth", has been to meditate on what FAITH really is. I've seen that FAITH has substance, and the substance of FAITH is the word of God. FAITH also is NOT KNOWING. That's the hard part - yet it is where we experience the kingship of the One born to be the Savior of the world.
My response? "Not knowing, I trust You, King Jesus. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your promises are my substance. Your character proves Your FAITHfulness. Your word has not failed, and You are not going to ruin Your reputation in our lives.
How do I transfer this from my head and heart to my feet? Very practically, and here it is.
1. I have learned how to have a business meeting with the King of my life, the King of the ministry he has entrusted to me. I have learned how to get His instructions on everything, and simply obey Him.
2. Having done all, I've learned to STAND.
Where does that bring me today? In ministry, I believe that we are finalizing what the King has given us to do in regards to His fabulous WOMEN IN WORSHIP conference, and now, in FAITH, we worship Him and watch Him bring it all together.
Our WOMEN IN WORSHIP conference theme is FAITH - Celebrating a decade of miracles. Each speaker is preparing to share how FAITH has brought him or her from a simple thought, to having a global impact in ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am preparing a message on FAITH, that is over-spilling into this newsletter. My special guest and friends are, Michael Catt, Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist church, and executive producer of the movies, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and COURAGEOUS. Jonathan Falwell, Senior Pastor of the innovative Thomas Road Baptist Church and Liberty University will also be with us; along with former Miss Mississippi, native of Hattiesburg, MS, and graduate of William Carey University, Wanda Geddie Bricker. Wanda is a now model in New York city, and featured soloist at the beloved Brooklyn Tabernacle. All of our speakers will share stories of FAITH that will draw you closer to the Savior so that you will even more, trust Him to fulfill His divine and precious promises in your life.
WOMEN IN WORSHIP is being held once again on the 3rd weekend of January, Jan 20-21. 2012. We are in a new location this year. WOMEN IN WORSHIP is being held at Dauphin Way Baptist Church, at I-65 and Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. HIGH TEA is again at the beautiful Battle House Hotel, Crystal Ballroom.

It’s going to be an exciting weekend, one that will empower you to stand firm and trust that Almighty God will give you the substance of FAITH, so that even when you don’t know, you will still go... Hebrews 11:8.
