WOMEN IN WORSHIP
Women IN Worship is a Bible Teaching, worship event, designed specifically to encourage, equip, and empower women to live a life of true worship. WIW is a powerful worship conference, accompanied by the best that Christian music, old and new, has to offer! Each conference is designed to catapult women into Bible study, prayer, evangelism, corporate worship, and a full life of true worship.
At WOMEN IN WORSHIP we believe that “Worship, in its total essence, is a RESPONSE TO TRUTH.” Therefore, in every session, the Word of God is presented with clarity, and women are given ample time to respond to it. The event is typically divided into 4 sessions:

YOUNG WOMEN IN WORSHIP
Young Women IN Worship is an academic summer intensive, established and structured for 16-25 year old young ladies. Areas of study include, Artist Development, Vocal Performance, Inductive Bible Study skills, Authoring and Publishing, and much more. The Women IN WORSHIP Praise Team will be the featured artist at summer camp.

What is WIW all about?

Whose ministry is it?
WIW is the conference ministry of Alicia Williamson Garcia and her husband Richard Garcia. The parent company, a 501(c) 3, is IN Worship.
Why should I go to the WIW conference?
WIW is your annual event for spiritual renewal and connecting with other women who are on the same journey. The event is designed so that individuals as well as groups will be able to focus in and structure their time for Bible study and personal worship.
What makes WIW different from any other conference?
WIW is unique in that it is a BIBLE TEACHING WORSHIP EVENT. There is as much focus on Bible teaching and exhortation as there is on individual and corporate worship.
Who are the special guests?
Special guests vary from event to event. They include Kay Arthur, Thelma Wells, Gloria Gaither, Becky Pippert, Aaron Fruh, Jannie Wilcoxson, guest artists, and college students who are training in an area of full-time ministry.

What denomination is Women IN Worship?
WIW is a non-denominational organization. Richard and Alicia are members of Luke 4:18 Fellowship in Mobile, AL. Brother Fred Wolfe is the senior pastor.

How much does WIW cost?
WOMEN IN WORSHIP is committed to offering the best price possible for both HIGH TEA and the conference. Prices vary from city to city, venue to venue. Click on the WOMEN IN WORSHIP logo on any page of the website to get to the Conference event page, or call us during regular business hours at 251-300-8400. Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm.
How do I purchase WIW tickets?
Click on the STORE tab at the top of the page. The tickets are listed as a shopping cart item. You can choose your ticket or your package. Once you have made that choice you will be taken to the check out page to enter the total quantity. You can also call us during regular business hours at 251-300-8400, Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm. All tickets are non-refundable. Once an event is sold out, IN WORSHIP is willing to help sell tickets that are not going to be used, but is not responsible to buyback any unused tickets.

Is there a discount on group tickets?
YES! There is a 10% discount on ten tickets or more.

There is not a package that contains tickets and travel arrangements.

How do I become a conference sponsor or exhibitor?

May I volunteer at the conference?
YES! PLEASE! Contact the local church of the conference where you would like to volunteer.
What is the age demographic of ladies who attend WOMEN IN WORSHIP?
There is a broad age range of ladies who attend WOMEN IN WORSHIP, beginning predominantly with college ladies.
What do I wear?
If you’re married, tell your husband you would like a new outfit. If you’re single, go get one. If are not able to get one, just wear what you have. WIW is a casual gathering, but we honor the fact that the meeting is housed in a sacred place, the local church building. Modesty will always be right and best!
Do I have to wear a hat to HIGH TEA?
No, but there is a hat contest and you could be the winner!
Does Alicia wear a hat to HIGH TEA?
Most times ☺.
Why is there an offering on Saturday afternoon?
A voluntary love offering is received on Saturday afternoon from those desiring to support the ministry with a one-time gift, or as monthly partners. Financial advising is available on-site for those choosing investment giving.
How do you go about choosing churches to host a WOMEN IN WORSHIP conference?
We don’t. We let the church choose us.
BIBLE STUDY
Bible study is held every Tuesday morning, from 9:30am -11:30 and Tuesday evening from 5:45pm to 8:00pm at Cottage Hill Baptist Church Youth Area in Mobile. Bible study begins with exciting praise and worship, followed by an in-depth, interactive Bible study. We emphasize the Inductive study method so that each student learns how to discover truth for themselves. Please call our offices at 251-300-8400 to ensure dates and times for the current Semester of Study.
PRAYER SUMMIT
Once a year, IN Worship will host a 3-day prayer summit. The summit will begin on Friday evening and end on Sunday at 1pm. Confirmed dates will be posted on the schedule of events on the home page, as well as posted in our monthly newsletter. The summits will be lead by powerful teachers and ones seasoned in the area of prayer. Topics of study and praying will be on, repentance, submission, resistance, humility, forgiveness, praying continually, praying in the Holy Spirit, worship, and so much more.
