Women IN Worship is only 10 days away and we are believing the Lord to EMPOWER YOU TO CHANGE THE WORLD! Here is the verse that He has given us for this hour!
Psalm 68:11 - The Lord gives the command; the women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host!
Wow - we know the Lord is raising up a mighty army of worshiping women who are a great force in the world and in the kingdom of God! We are just thankful to be a part of what our Lord is doing all over the world!

MORE SEATS ADDED TO BREAKFAST WITH KAY ARTHUR!
o We have added about 60 more seats to the breakfast with Kay Arthur. Those of you who are on our waiting list will get calls this week, or you can call our office to let us know that you no longer wish to be on the waiting list.

o A few seats are becoming available! Make sure you are on the waiting list!
CONFERENCE TICKETS
o Tickets for Friday night and Saturday are $65! Reserve before Jan. 15 to secure your lunch on Saturday.
TICKETS IN HAND!
o It is imperative that you have your ticket IN HAND when you arrive at each event. If your ticket is being held at WILL CALL, go directly there and it will be issued to you. Tell your friends! Tickets in hands! Like boarding an airplane! We want to take off and land at the scheduled time! J
RESERVED LUNCH AREAS
o During lunch on Saturday there will be a special area reserved for PASTOR’S WIVES and ladies who serve on church staffs or who are in full/part-time ministry. There is also a reserved area for ladies who would like to know more about YOUNG Women in Worship! Space is limited in these areas, and it will help us tremendously if you had a moment to call and just let us know that you would like to have lunch in one of these reserved areas. You can also respond via E-mail at Info@inworship.org. If the phones are busy – GREAT! Just leave us a message, your name and the names of those who will be joining you for lunch, and we will make your reservation. Thanks so much!

PARKING
o ARRIVE EARLY for each event so that you get parked as close as you can. Valet parking is available at HIGH TEA but once it’s full, it’s full. Carpooling is best for HIGH TEA. (Meet at Cottage Hill and drive one car from there.) COME EARLY and enjoy the venues and your friends!
BOOKSTORE
o The bookstore this year is going to be slammin’. It will be open before and after each session. Come with a prayerful heart and secure the items that you will need to empower you to change your world!

Are you already off to a fast start, feeling like you’re drinking from a fire hydrant? Well, that is usually how December starts for us, but we are thankful to be drinking from a saucer because our cup overflows. Glory to Jesus.
I want to encourage your heart with this one thought. “Practice Christianity!” Now, meditate on that! As you sit with the Lord, day after day, and He tells you incredible things and fills you with His Spirit, are you (and I) walking in what He has spoken? Are we sharing it with others? Are WE teaching our children and grandchildren or allowing someone else to do it? This HOLY DAY SEASON and beyond, I want to encourage you to PRACTICE CHRISTIANITY!!! Keep on being filled with God’s Spirit through Bible study, prayer and personal worship, then share, share, share.
I think about and I watch ones from a different faith than ours, practice their faith and teach it to their children. I mean they drill it in, and those little ones are as adamant as their parents. Leaving that faith would mean leaving the family and a family inheritance! Yet many times, we Christians leave the teaching of our faith to Christian schools or Sunday school classes.
Christianity is BEAUTIFUL because it is not a ritual at all. It is LIFE in the Spirit! Yes, there are structured times of prayer, Bible study and corporate worship, but all day long we are being led by the Spirit to pray, to rejoice, to encourage and be encouraged. We are empowered by our God to do and be everything He created us for.
Think it through and really PRACTICE CHRISTIANITY – practice your faith this Christmas season and for the rest of your life. See what a difference FAITH makes.
1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world OUR FAITH! (caps for emphasis!)

But there is room for you in the beautiful sanctuary at Cottage Hill Baptist Church where the conference is being held. Wow! You were quick to grab up tickets to Breakfast with Kay Arthur and High Tea with Gloria Gather! There are VERY FEW seats left. If you want to participate in either of these events during the Women IN Worship weekend, you’ll need to call our office and ask to be placed on the waiting list. Love to you today and blessing upon blessing. I’m thanking God for you today. I’m thankful for your friendship, your prayers, and your joining us for many wonderful worship events.
Of course we have been talking about the Women IN Worship conference that is coming up January 22-23, 2010. I can hardly wait to see you there and worship with you. You know that Kay Arthur and Gloria Gaither will be joining me this year, along with some very special and TALENTED friends from the Mobile area.

JESUS LOVES YOU! He knows what you are thinking. He knows how you are feeling. He knows what is going on in your life; good, bad, or indifferent, He knows, and He loves you. He does not love our sin. Our sin is what put Him on the cross. But He loves US! Be encouraged with that today, Jesus knows everything there is to know about you and still He LOVES YOU! A dear friend has told me over and over again, “The One who knows you the best, loves you the most.” So, draw near to Him, with a sincere heart, and He will draw near to you. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe in (fully, as to commit your life to) Me, (Jesus)!

Hello Friends, Young Women in Worship, Bible study leaders, Sunday School teachers, Disciples of Christ, Believers, ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants to discover truth for themselves!
This is the week to get registered for INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY TRAINING!!!
Saturday, August 29th is the day that is set aside to learn how to study and understand the Bible for ourselves! The cost is only $10 for high school and full-time college students, and only $25 for the rest of us!
“Inductive Bible study makes we want to go back and study everything I have ever learned in the Bible to see whether or not I learned it right or wrong.” - A Young Woman in Worship!
At IN Worship, the foundation of everything we do, is Inductive Bible Study. We want you to know how to study God’s word for myself, and teach others to do the same. Then we want you to walk in the light of the truth! If you have never learned how to study the Bible for yourself, this event is for you!
The training will be held at Christ United Methodist Church upstairs in the Christ Center. If you enter through the front, you can take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor and you are there! Bring writing utensils, a pad for note taking, and some means of purchasing materials in the bookstore, for further study. Bibles and scriptural passages will be given to you.
If you are still planning on coming but have not registered, of course we need to hear from you today. Our caterers need as much advanced notice as possible. Thanks for helping us with that. The office number is 251-300-8400.

We are still receiving young women, 16-25 (ish) for our first annual
Young Women IN Worship Summer INTENSIVE!
Registration is only $75 per girl, and that includes 2 nights at the beautiful Homewood Suites Hotel in West Mobile, meals, snacks, and conference materials. The event starts Sunday, July 26 at 3pm and ends after lunch on Tuesday, July 28th.
